Volunteer Day
AAS Restoration, in business since 1982, is based in Kansas City. Every year, as long back as we can remember, AAS Restoration participates in a day of service to our community. Next month in October we are going to put our restoration services to the test by helping the Police Athletic League. They’ve given us a list of restoration opportunities. Below is a slideshow of the areas that need repair or general maintenance. Make sure to come back and see our gallery of before/after pictures.
- They need this stained wood area painted white to lighten up the entrance.
- They need this stained wood door painted gray to match the other doors.
- The reception area needs a fresh coat of white paint.
- The railings need another coat of paint
- Ceiling tiles need to be reset or replaced.
- They requested that we re-paint the gray areas on their steps.
- The brick work is coming apart.
- This area would work better for them if it had pavers.
- In this area, they’d like ornamental grasses to pretty it up. They also need a chin-up bar or two.
We have 16 team members volunteering their time on October 15 to fill the needs of the Police Athletic League (PAL). PAL offers youth the opportunity to interact with police officers in a positive setting while participating in cultural, mentoring and sports programs, with the main emphasis placed on academics. What are YOU doing for YOUR community?
