When you think of carpet cleaning, you probably think vacuuming like crazy, and scrubbing. You are wondering which carpet cleaning method would be best for your home and whether it should be done by you or by a professional company. AAS Restoration uses a professional steam cleaning system to ensure your carpet/upholstery“shines” again and a team of professionals who will relieve you of any doubt that you should leave the work to them.
Carpet cleaning companies like us implement different types of cleaning methods and techniques. Each method and technique has its own advantages. An AAS tech will explain the cleaning process that will be used, depending on the type of fabric being cleaned. That same tech will answer the question of which method you should use to clean your carpet/furniture so you will have no doubts about leaving the cleaning in such capable hands.
As we’ve said earlier in the series, carpet cleaning methods are divided into two parts: wet and dry. Wet cleaning, or “steam cleaning” includes hot water extraction. Dry carpet cleaning involves the use of chemicals applied by special machines and may be necessary in certain instances.

Steam cleaning isn’t chemical-free carpet cleaning either so why get steam cleaning by AAS Restoration?

With our wet cleaning approach, the carpet is first sprayed with a detergent that soaks into the carpet fibers. Water is heated and pressurized, then washed into the fibers. After about 10 to 15 minutes, the solution is extracted with a vacuum. The advantage is that these high temperatures gets out dirt from deep down in the carpet. It is the most widely used method, even recommended by carpet manufacturers. AAS recommends it as well.
