Over the years, AAS Restoration has managed to be involved in a plethora of associations. Here below are a few.

DKI—Disaster Kleenup International. AAS Restoration is a proud member of Disaster Kleenup International (DKI), a network of North America’s leading restoration contractors. This association allows members access to cutting-edge technology and provides resources to handle any job, no matter how large or complicated. AAS Restoration’s membership in this network ensures that our team will provide the highest quality service while adhering to a strict code of ethics.

IICRC—Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification. AAS Restoration’s teams of technicians are certified through the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning, and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Our technicians certifications range from carpet cleaning, upholstery and fabric cleaning, and textile cleaning to water restoration, fire and smoke restoration, and water-damage restoration to carpet repair and installation. IICRC, established in 1972, was formed to serve as an independent, nonprofit certification body to set and promote high standards and ethics for restoration contractors. In order to stay on the forefront of the restoration industry, IICRC technicians must take continuing education classes and be recertified on an annual basis.

CCRN—Certified Contents Restoration Network. The Certified Contents Restoration Network (CCRN) was created to establish and monitor certification programs and standards for the soft contents restoration industry. As a member of CCRN, AAS Restoration professionals have completed a comprehensive training program to ensure that they meet the standards of quality required to safely process soft contents. Only certified members of the CCRN can properly clean, restore, and disinfect soft contents. CCRN promotes the use of the Esporta Wash System, the disaster restoration industry’s only wet-wash machine designed to disinfect, deodorize, and wash laundry, shoes, leather, and even Category 2 and 3 soiled laundry (contaminated by sewage). AAS Restoration is the Metro Area’s sole owner of an Esporta Wash System.

Esporta Certified Operator. AAS Restoration is the only licensed vendor of the Esporta Wash System for the Kansas City Metro area. The Esporta Wash System is the disaster restoration industry’s only wet-wash machine designed exclusively to recover soft contents damaged in fire and water disasters. Soft contents include footwear, linens, outerwear, leathers, bedding, outdoor items, athletic equipment, survival gear, sleeping bags, life jackets, stuffed toys, and personal clothing. The patented system breaks down unwanted organic materials and kills bacteria, viruses, and mold spores on contact. The system also removes organic and inorganic contaminants without degrading or damaging the materials. The Esporta Wash System is five times more effective than traditional front-loading washing machines. It has been scientifically proven to eliminate 99.9997% of contaminates, including heavy smoke, soot, mold, and sewage.

NARI—National Association of the Remodeling Industry. The core purpose of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) is to advance and promote the remodeling industry’s professionalism, product, and vital public purpose. AAS Restoration has sent employees to NARI classes in order for them to attain the status of Certified Remodeler and/or Certified Lead Carpenter. As a member, AAS pledges to observe high standards of honesty, integrity, and responsibility in the conduct of business.

IAQA—Indoor Air Quality Association. AAS Restoration has been a member of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) since 2001 when the company became certified in mold remediation. This Association is a nonprofit, multidiscipline organization, dedicated to promoting the exchange of indoor environmental information through education and research, for the safety and well being of the general public. It was established in 1995 to promote uniform standards, procedures, and protocols in the Indoor Air Quality industry.
